Partnership Building

Partnership Building

We take partnership very seriously, and as Pastor Zephaniah says: “It is far more important to see your faces than to receive money. We pray for you every Tuesday in early morning prayers: so you are on our hearts.” On a personal and charity level, we are sure that we owe much to their consistent prayers over the years.

The charity partnership is with the Capital Christian Centre, which is under the Tanzanian Assemblies of God Church. Our relationship with them started in 1990, even though we only became a charity in 2010. Our joint vision is that through the desperately needed health work, the Kingdom of God will be built and strengthened, as communities are reached with God’s love. The Church is growing in Tanzania. Capital Christian Centre started in 1992 and in 2023 has a membership of 1,400. This is built on prayer, forgiveness and love. Their prayer house has people praying in it day and night, throughout the year and they have a passion for the lost.

Our annual trips are always very special times and we are blessed as we go. Tanzania is very poor in resources but very rich in spirit. You are welcome to join us! As a charity we pay for some of our Tanzanian partners to visit us every other year, however getting visas for them to visit us and build up the charity in UK can be very challenging; we do not always succeed. These trips are a way of building understanding, mutual respect and love and to share resources and vision. For me, to see and work in homes and communities in real poverty in Tanzania, puts both the physical comfort of the West and the poverty of our spiritual health, in perspective.

We thank God that He has kept us over the years, strengthened our understanding and partnership and kept us on track with His vision for the charity.
